Food Review: Vegan Food @ Trooft and Arpana's Chai-Nashta

Vegan food is gaining popularity for all the right reasons. It is a lifestyle that lot of people are following and I'm glad that I got a chance to be part of one of such Vegan get-together at @trooft2022 

On entering it, my first impression was simply 'Wow.' The rooftop was quite comfortable, chic, trendy, and had welcoming vibes. 

I was greeted by warm & friendly smile by Arpana Bhuwania, my host for the evening. She introduced me and others present to the world of Vegan cuisine. She explained to us how she is re-inventing & developing some of the old forgotten recipes with a touch of modernization to match everyone's palatte. 

The food that you see in the pictures are her copyright recipes that aren't easily accessible in other eateries. She also shared that all food is freshly made everyday and they use all vegan ingredients such as almond milk, vegan cheese, and various other grains like  Millets to curate their dishes. 

For a vegetarian like me, this world was new and I am glad I got to know about a Vegan dishes that are also healthy and tasty at the same time.

Jhal Moori- This was one of its own experience to have such a fulfilling and taste. If you love spicy food, this one is for you. 





Vegan Thali included Millet bread, Rajma, Dry Chana mix, Vegan Pizza and salad. 

As impressive as it looks, this Thali was wholesome and so goooooodddd (do note the extra letters for the emphasis). My favourite were Rajama and bread - a single bite and you won't be able to tell any difference that it doesn't contain any milk products. 



Dessert included Brownie made from millet flour & Millet Kheer

Absolutely droolworthy!!🎉 I think i found my new love. The Kheer was made from almond milk and tasted delicious. The brownie is by far a healthy version made from millet flour and jaggery.
