McDonald’s need no introduction. You have been there and tasted all the delicacies it has to offer. It is one of the famous QSR for everyone – be it youngsters, family, or office people.
Then why am I writing about it?
I am writing this article with a purpose. My recent visit to McDy was to try their Minion special desserts. To celebrate the craze of Minion and monsoon, they have launched happy meals with special minion toys. The new desserts involve the favorite of minion – bananas.
Here is what I tried:
Banana Caramel Oreo: It was banana heaven. This dessert had a mix of banana and Oreo brewed together in a thick shake. This dessert was a quick mix meal. Every bite had the perfect balance of Oreo crumbles and banana.
Soft Serve and Banana Caramel Oreo Mcflurry: Another yummy dessert! The usual soft serve was combined with banana caramel, which was one of its own kind in Ahmedabad. I never had banana caramel before. And it was superb. The soft serve had various layers – it started with Oreo, banana, soft serve, and caramel.
The McDonald’s Coffee: I had coffee with some French fries as a starter. The coffee was tasty. The look was beautiful. It had detailed and beautifully engraved 'M’ with coffee powder. The smell of freshly brewed coffee and freshly crushed coffee beans was something to die for.
The distinction part of this visit was that I had a chance to look in the kitchen. For Prahaldnagar branch, you can ask and visit the kitchen. The kitchen had a different distinction for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The orders are freshly made and hygiene is utmost care. All staff member have to wear caps and gloves whenever they are working.
Next, I saw their cold storage where all the raw material is kept. It was amazing to know our own McDonald’s from the inside.
If you love Minion, then enjoy the festival before it is gone.
