Food Review | Stuff’s Gurukul |

Stuff’s has always been known to serve best of North India cuisine. Stuff’s Gurukul is a small place situated on a busy street of Gurukul road.

Its beautiful décor and light colors will soothe your soul. The staff is courteous and guides you with their specialties. The menu sounds and reads delicious. Every time I am there, I am tempted by it.

On my recent visit, here’s what I tried:

Starter:

Karara Kebab

This kebab was wrapped in fried papad and stuffed with mixed vegetables. It was accompanied with green chutney, curd, and salad. I loved that it was freshly fried and though it was fried, the filings were quite saucy. Yet, it served the purpose of its name ‘Karara’ by giving a crunchy taste.

Drinks

Mint Lemonade: Refreshing and flavorful, this drink went well with all the heavy and yummy delicacies.

Patiala Lassi: Lassi is love. The huge Patiala lassi just made it a good way to end the meal. The chilled, fluffy, and thick lassi just makes you feel cool. All brownie points for this lassi.

Main Course:

Mix Kulcha Thali

This thali will seriously make you fall in love with North Indian food. All goodness in one plate is dream come true.

Mixed Kulcha was served with curd, chutney, chole, and a drop of butter. A single bite into this delicious plate and you would feel as you have reached heaven. The Kulcha’s were heavily and equally filled with vegetable stuffing. Even if you eat a without any accompaniments, it will still satisfy your taste buds.

The chole were made in traditional Punjabi style and went very well with the kulcha. The curd and chutney just made the entire meal more delicious.4

Dessert:
Gulab Jamun

What could be better than soft and yummy Gulab Jamun to provide peace to your sweet tooth. They are extremely soft and just melt in your mouth.

Overall, I would say, Stuff’s is a pure heaven for North Indian food lovers. Just a tip or a wish that they would experiment other options in the menu as many their dishes had paneer as an important ingredient.
