Food Review: Khana Khazana, Hotel Inder Residency Ahmedabad
Khana Khazana is a restaurant situated in Hotel Inder Residency, Ahmedabad. It serves North Indian cuisine. I was recently here to dig in some of their yummiest food and also to try their Monsoon special menu.
One thing, this restaurant is always peculiar about is the consistency of the food. You will get to have same quantity and taste whenever you go! Here’s what I had there:
Tandoori Masala Bhutta: It was a unique way of serving corn on the cob. The boiled corn was covered with Tandoori Masala to give it flavors. I liked their idea however, some small pieces of same would have added to the charm.
Pani Puri Shots: A classic starter! The pani was delicious and it was serving made it quite easy for us to grab and eat them. I liked the freshness of the food.
Aloo Tikki Chat: Another classic starter, it is impossible to go wrong with them. The chat was delicious. The tikki was crunchy and perfectly fried. It was topped with just right portion of curd and chutney. Generally, if any one of the ingredient of the chat is overdone, it ruins the taste but that wasn’t the case here.
Basket Chaat: The crunchiest basket chaat ever, loved the portion of the serving. Once again, it proved that old places come with experience. All ingredient were bang on!
Chinese Sizzler: Monsoon is no fun with something hot. A sizzler suffices this craze. The sizzler had generous portions of Manchurian, Paneer Tikka, Noodles, and Fried Rice.
Mix Vegetable and Rotis: I loved the texture and flavors of the mix veg and the soft rotis complimented the entire meal.
Gulab Jamun: Fluffy and soft sweets are what you need to end a perfect lunch.
Overall, I enjoyed my tryst with lunch at this place. A definite visit.
