Amazo Bistro, a new name to Ahmedabad Restaurants

Ahmedabad, February 12, 2015: Anil Group’s Gen-Next Aashna Sheth is steering and giving a new direction to the Anil Group’s food & beverages business with the launch of all new ‘Amazo Bistro’ in Ahmedabad. Amazo Bistro will cater to diverse and wide range of tastes with its offering from Indian, Italian, Mexican and Contemporary European cuisines. Its eclectic menu has been designed by the renowned Canadian Chef Andrew Parsons. Aashna is the fourth generation member of the promoter family of the Anil Group. She has done her studies in Business Management from Nottingham University, UK. 

Apart from careful selection of the cuisines and the dishes, the new outlet, located at Armedia, Sindhu Bhavan Road, off S.G. Highway also has a contemporary and avant-garde appearance through its décor, layout and the interiors.  In short, Amazo Bistro intends to give the food connoisseurs an eating experience, going beyond the palate.With an aim to target young professionals, young families and people who feel young at heart, the Bistro in its inimitable settings will have selection of dishes that represent popular cuisines like Indian, Italian, Mexican and Contemporary European.

Commenting on this new venture, Ms. Aashna Sheth said, “Today, Indian consumers have built the palate for various cuisines and like to delve into multiple options. The young generation like to go out and hang around a place which has a casual openness, yet exuding a strikingly elegant aura. Everything at Amazo Bistro from ambience to food offerings has been designed keeping the young at heart target audience in mind.”

Mr. Amol Sheth, Chairman & Managing Director of the Anil Group said, “Ahmedabad is increasingly becoming more and more metropolitan. Everything related to Amazo Bistro - from its interiors to the menu – has been conceptualised keeping this in mind.”

Andrew Parsons, the Corporate Chef who designed the menu for Amazo Bistro said “We have focused primarily on flavours, presentation and an environment that is youth centric and offers multiple options & variety of cuisines.” Andrew Parsons is aCorporate Chef at CAARA Consultancy and he started his journey in India as the Executive Chef of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Spread over 2,500 square feet, the Bistro has indoor as well as outdoor eating spaces with a seating capacity for 90 persons.
