Tamatar ni chutney or Tomatoes Chutney is a day-to-day common recipe cooked in every household, though with variations. The recipe today, I am going to share is a simple basic Sindhi style chutney that is well garnished and sprinkled with black pepper powder.

Tomato Sabzi (Chutney)
Ingredients (for 4 people)
- Medium sized tomatoes – 4
- Oil – one cup
- Red chili powder – 2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder - 2 teaspoon and for garnishing
- Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – as per taste
- Garam masala powder – ½ teaspoon

Procedure
- Blend the tomatoes coarsely in a mixer.
- Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan.
- Add the tomato puree and let it boil.
- Mix salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder and cook it on medium flame for 15- 20 minutes.
- Throw in some pepper powder and cook the tomato chutney till it is dry.
- Garnish with black pepper powder and serve hot with briyani or rotis.
