Besan wali mirchi

Badi Mirchi in India is a term used for big long green chilies that are used in many recipes. These resemble the small green chilies, only difference being that these are less spicy and can be consumed easily. One of the quick and easy recipe is besan wali badi mirchi - that is best when accompanied by puris, rotis or bakhris.

This dish uses sea salt by Chakri - The originals. Chakri provides organic food that is healthy and tastes superb too. I have been trying the ingredients in most of my recipes and can feel the difference. Light in food, light in stomach and waist - organic food is definitely a solution.


To make them you will need:-

Ingredients:

  • Badi Mirchi – 10-12 pieces diced
  • Besan (Gram flour) – 2 tablespoon
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Oil – 1 teaspoon


Procedure:

  • Chop the badi mirchi into pieces.
  • Put one-teaspoon oil in a pan.
  • Add the chopped mirchi’s and cook it for some time.
  • Mix in salt, chili powder, turmeric powder and let it cook until they are soften.
  • Once it is par cooked, add besan and little water and continuously mix them until besan entirely meets mirchi.
