Food Review: The Esplendido Cafe

The Esplendido Café has recently opened up and is making quite a name in the market. As curiosity took over, I went to try this place.

The first thing that wooed me was their interiors. They were breathtaking and colorful. From slightest details on the table to the largest carvings inside and outside the restaurant; interiors will definitely uplift your soul. Another striking feature of interiors was the lush greenery it gave to eyes. In a place like Ahmedabad, there is need for more places like these where there is ample greenery.

The service was prompt and helpful. They were open to all kinds of feedback with a smile, which made my experience more enriching. About the food, here’s what I had:

Oriental Pizza: A thin crust pizza spread with gracious amount of cheese and veggies. It was crispy and perfectly baked. I enjoyed having it.

Wok Toss Sizzler: It was a good dish. The Manchurian balls were soft and were properly toasted in the sauces. The good part of this dish was that it had a balanced Chinese flavor and didn’t go overboard with spices.

Kiwi Margarita & Avalanche: Both these drinks were refreshing and perfect for the dry-sunny weather.

Cappuccino: This was the highlight of the entire meal. It is one of the best cappuccino’s I had in town. It was brewed to perfection and the taste of freshly grounded coffee beans enhanced the entire cup.
